Detailed description of Rustic Hills Country Club
Rustic Hills Country Club, private for over 40 years, is now Semi-Private, open to the public. This 9 hole golf course is located in Medina, Ohio.
Rustic Hills Country Club first opened for play in 1960.
The most challenging aspects to this course are its very small and elevated greens. Additionally, water hazards come into play on six holes, including one island green located in the center of a ten-acre lake. The signature hole is #7, a 267-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water to a small landing area.
Blue tees: par-32, 1,778 yards
Red tees: par-32, 1,599 yards

I live in the area and I always wanted to try this course, with the thought of even becoming a member (it used to be member only). I used a Groupon coupon for a foursome with cart for $45. I honestly thought about getting my money back. Course conditions were beyond terrible -cart paths crumbling or just made out of gravel, tee boxes hard as a rock and bare, greens hard as a rock, bunkers overgrown. Bad, bad, bad.
